Marina: Forging a deep interspecies bond

Now this is really exciting!

Marina and Stina will team up and teach the 2019 Sahaja Liberty Training Clinic!

Marina Wright is a horse-human relationship coach from Ontario, Canada. Through years of devotion to the wellbeing of horses Marina has created Pair Bond Training and teaches the 7 Mindful Movements to guide others to a harmonious and consensual relationship with their horses at liberty. Marina considers herself very lucky to count her stallion, Pyrite, as one of her most important teachers. Not only has she learned much from him, but his foals and their development within the herd have only reinforced the information she shares with the world on horse behaviour and liberty work. In the human realm, Marina’s most influential mentor has been Carolyn Resnick and her Waterhole Rituals. The time she spent with Carolyn was invaluable and unlocked the trainer that she is today. Pair Bond Training is heavily inspired by Carolyn’s method.

Pair Bond Training was born from the heart. It was created to  empower our horses with emotional stability, and add enrichment to their lives. It is the foundation required to ensure our horses are willing and enthusiastic partners in our adventures together, whatever they may be. Pair Bond Training is about training the human proper equine etiquette to allow the unique connection that horses naturally seek to flourish. In order to achieve this, the horse must be free and in complete control of his own body. No ropes. No round pens. Once this bond and emotional stability is achieved, training (I prefer the perspective, teaching) is much more fluid and free of common frustrations – for horse and human alike.

Marina has long been a fan of Stina and the wonderful environment she’s created on St. Vincent. Besides the love for horses and liberty that Stina and Marina obviously share, Marina also shares a mutual love for the planet and being a good steward for mother earth.

Horses and nature are inextricably tied, and what better place is there to experience both?! This is sure to be an experience of a lifetime!

Thanks Marina!

I look so much forward to get to know you better and co-teach the clinic with you!
